about
“There are people in this world that allow you to truly believe that you can do anything. I’m so grateful for my husband, Jeff, and our three kids, Walker, Charlie and Colby. You are my greatest source of pride and joy!”
Cameron is a self-taught artist, recently committing to her craft full-time. Cameron’s background in language and culture is deeply embedded in her perception of the world and translates into her artistry.
Cameron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Oregon. She also studied at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina and attended the Spanish immersion graduate program at Middlebury College in Vermont. Prior to becoming a full-time artist, Cameron enjoyed working for many years as a bilingual educator throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Cameron’s passion for the Spanish language and authentic cultural experiences led to extensive travels throughout Spain and Central and South America. Most recently, Cameron and her family moved to Costa Rica for a year-long immersive experience. Inspired by Costa Rica’s stunning landscape and wildlife, Cameron began to focus more seriously on her photography, and upon returning home in 2016, she began to experiment with a lifelong desire to paint.
Nature is highly influential in Cameron’s work. She has a profound connection to nature and seeks it out as a refuge; a place of peace and infinite beauty. Cameron spends much of her free time trekking in the mountains or walking the trails near her home. Many of Cameron’s pieces are an interpretation of the emotions that nature evokes in us.
Cameron currently lives Mill Valley, California and recently moved into a beautiful space at Studio333 in Sausalito. Come see us at https://www.studio333.info/ or follow @studio333gallery
